Contemporary Ceramic Studios Association

Contemporary Ceramic Studios Association :: The Corporation's mission is to provide an environment and structure for all contemporary ceramic studios to learn and grow from coordinating research, sharing new concepts and building long lasting relationships among studios, suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers. To achieve this end, the Corporation will conceive, develop and implement programs to foster the contemporary ceramics expansion, thus providing an area in which Members can achieve greater individual success.

American Ceramic Society

The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) is a 100-year-old non-profit organization that serves the informational, educational, and professional needs of the international ceramics community. The Society's more than 7,500 members comprise a wide variety of individuals and interest groups that include engineers, scientists, researchers, manufacturers, plant personnel, educators, students, marketing and sales professionals, and others in related materials disciplines. ACerS provides members and subscribers in 80 countries with access to periodicals and books, meetings and expositions, and on-line technical information.

Ceramics Monthly

Founded in 1953, Ceramics Monthly is an internationally distributed magazine on ceramic art and craft. Each issue includes articles on potters and ceramics artists from throughout the world, exhibitions, and production processes, as well as critical commentary, book and video reviews, clay and glaze recipes, kiln designs and firing techniques, advice from experts in the field, and ads for available materials and equipment. While principally covering contemporary work, the magazine also looks back at influential artists and events from the past.

The world's oldest, most comprehensive and largest ceramic art periodical, Ceramics Monthly is published each month (except July and August). For news, as well as inspiration, you won't find a better source.
